Great prices, huge and varied stock, and wonderful people! The owners of this family business know their stuff and are always cheerful and helpful. Please don’t bring dogs; they don’t want their cats harassed; and those cats are doing important jobs on site!

I haven’t been to Sego in awhile, I went online to see how late they are open today, they close soon so I can’t go today. I read some of their Yelp reviews and I am shocked! Sego has been my nursery for years and years! I have never ever had a rude employee experience, in fact they are like friends, friends that you don’t see often so it’s fun to catch up with them. They are extremely knowledgeable and are very honest with me if I decide to buy a plant that might be out of my experience range! So, I will be going tomorrow to stock up on soil and milkweed plants! Thank you Sego for your expertise and kindness 😘

Dean, Laura and Mike are always so helpful and knowledgeable. There have been several times I've wanted to spend money on something I didn't need or something that would not have worked. Dean and Laura did not let me waste my money. It's unheard-of to have a company do this. Most places would've let me spend the money. This is why I shop here all the time now.

Had a great experience here today! Was seeking some advice for my monstera and needed some supplies and a few new plants. Dean was so knowledgeable, and even shared a quick lesson on plant species, climate types, and how to care for and water those different types of plants. Go visit the kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable folks at Sego. They have pretty competitive pricing too.

Honestly, love this place. I’ve come here a few times with my best friend (also a plant enthusiast) as I live down the road. I think the plants are very reasonably priced. This is a local, family owned business that’s been there for years. Any questions I have are honestly answered and even when you purchase a plant they give you case specific care instructions that they have printed out. Where else are you getting that level of attention and care? I really DO NOT get the negative reviews I just saw. They have generations of family info. This is what they do. They know plants and they care. Give these guys a break. Every plant I’ve purchased is happy and thriving, mostly because they will genuinely tell you how to care for it in the environment it’s going into. I feel like almost biweekly I’m coming here to get a plant. I have a lot of plants but these guys deserve your business. Anything you want to know about a plant, they’ll tell you! I brought up a bag of soil a month ago and they even directed me to a cheaper bag that would fit the needs better for my plant. Ignore the haters here and trust this sweet family. They really do know and care! The selection is impressive.from herbs
